Healing Calendula balm
Since a couple of years I’ve started making my own healing Calendula balm, from the flowers that grow in our garden here in the French countryside. The balm is made with three organic ingredients only: beeswax and calendula-infused jojoba and apricot kernel oil. Because I only use homegrown flowers, the batches are small and season dependant.
Fun fact: Sponsa Solis has been named after her! The name literally means ‘Bride of the Sun’, as Calendula loves the sun and its heat. She opens up as she sees the sun and closes again at sunset.
